Finally...
The wonderful story of Ukrainian girl in Malaysia=)
Sorry for English, hard to type in Russian without the russian keybord))
Sooo
It started on Friday, when we got the phone call from the commune asking to submit the documents for the residence card and pick it up on Tuesday after 12. That was kind of surprising and unexpected that four of us finally got the change to go to Malaysia. Well, you can't imagine how desparate I was knowing that I will have it at 12, and my flight is at 13. Cool, isn't it?
Tuesday, 8 am. I am calling my mom to say good bye and then pack my stuff, do manicure, pedicure and cut my bangs. I called the commune at 9 and OMG! "Your residence card is ready, you can come and pick it up now". Me running to the commune! Got it! Whoowhhoooo!!! Went to the pharmacy and bought the most expensive sanitizer for hands to protect myself from the spread hepatitis A in Malaysia and a great number of masks to be protected from the swine flu. It was helpful afterwards.
I cam back home, put all the clothes from my wardrobe to my bag, and that's it, I was near missing my flight.
I came to Brussels Midi station almost on the agreed time. We were supposed to be taken by the Thalis company train to Amsterdam at 14.32. If you ever has the chance to travel by Air France or KLM airlines, do check the timing! Because our train left at 13.00. So...we are not in Amsterdam to get our flight to Kuala Lumpur!
Very nice indeed. We are running to the Air France desk and demand to change our tickets. That was very successful and we went to Amsterdam by plane))) We were very lucky to get there on time and even to spend 2 hours in the wonderful airport of Amsterdam with the sparkling floor, starbucks and laptop))
The finally the flight. It was amazing! The only thing that was bad is sleeping, I couldn't sleep at all, but ate nice food, watched nice movies on the personal screen and even used email on board. My heart was squeezing when we were flying somewhere near Makeyevka...
Finally in Malaysia. I was wearing mask at the airport like all of the staff there, I'm really afraid to get a flu. The weather is dry and hot, I cannot breathe normally, but we have air conditioners at the hotel, a nice hotel, I would say, so it's ok. We have a nice room and a swimming pool, fascinating view on Kuala Lumpur from the 12th floor. And foods, ummmmmmm, it's soooo delicious! But I think by the end of the conference I would hate rice and chicken in different variations))
The conference itself hasn't started yet, but the premeeting is awesome! I have so many ideas, i've met so many interesting people, that's amazing! Looking forward for the IC to start and for my rest of the team to come! It is unforgettable experience! I know we will rock this year!
Now tired and want to sleep, hardly stopped myself from joining CEE party today...Still feel myself a part of them, not structured but boring WENA)))
I love AIESEC, I love Belgium, I love Malaysia, I love IC! I love!
